John has been an automotive technician since 1976. John enjoys working on all types of vehicles his favorites being Honda, Toyota and Subaru. In 2011, John became an ASE Certified Advance Level Specialist. This is the highest recognized level of automotive service excellence, which is in addition to John’s ASE Certified Master Technician status. John Also holds a New York State Inspectors License. John has an Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from International Correspondence Schools.Outside of work, John enjoys hiking, climbing, bicycling, and skiing. John attended Shaker High School in Latham and has lived in the Latham and Watervliet area all his life.

Meet John Passalacqua. John has been working on gas vehicles for almost 35 years.   John is an ASE Certified Master Technician and holds a New York State Inspectors license.  When not working on trucks, John enjoys fishing and riding four-wheelers.  John makes a great addition to the Whalen Automotive team.

Meet Scott. Scott has been an automotive technician for over 20yrs and joined our team in 2017. Scott is an avid fan of auto racing. Scott and his wife have both been residents of the capital district for many years.

Meet Donna Kraiza, Service Writer and Advisor. Donna is an ASE Certified Service Consultant. Donna has been with Whalen Automotive since 2013. During free time Donna enjoys various activities with her family such as kayaking and camping.
